Child Development Preschool Child Development Preschool programs include courses in Child Development, Child Development Careers, and Child Psychology. Students learn about early childhood education by developing and implementing lessons in an onsite preschool program for children from the community. Classroom instruction is combined with hands-on, real-life learning. Families in the community can bring their three-year- old children to the high school for preschool education. Students may earn Tech Prep college credits at the Saint Paul College after successfully completing the Child Development course sequence.
